Had a lovely day today, we went To Ross’ mums for a birthday BBQ for my 21st (which is tomorrow), it was amazing.
Ross’ mum and dad bought me an amazing new violin which was very expensive and my cake was delicious (even though I only really tasted the icing because, face it morning sickness wouldn’t let me keep it down).
My neighbour did try to ruin it when I came up the stairs, by having a jab about something that I said on Friday, which basically I got her kid into trouble for losing a cup from Ollies new tea set and she went crazy because “it was only a cup” but seriously, i bought it like 10 minutes before this was lost. Wonder what it would have been like if the tables were turned… Anyways, she was like “think you’re owe her an apology” and I was like “how old are you?” and carried on my conversation with someone else. Seriously though, if you hold a grudge on someone over something so silly then your life can’t be interesting/it’s no wonder noone likes her. Not that I’m bothered. :D
Anyway, amazing day. Amazing weekend. Next weekend is going to be much the same, i have a gender scan on Saturday morning and Saturday night is Susan’s 21st party and limo! (my dress is amazing)
So yeah. Wow. Happy. After Quite a bad week of roller coaster hormones and emotions for, this is quite a change. A very welcome change.

Got a long lie today, didn’t get up until 10am! Don’t feel like eating anything apart from a crispy bacon roll with lettuce and tomatoes and tomato soup, so Ross went out to get me stuff to cook it… What did I do to deserve him?
Also, having learned not to say “eww that doesn’t go together” to what a pregnant woman wants to eat also earns you brownie points. :) and tomato soup and blt’s totally go together Mmmm.

It’s been really hot up here in Scotland for once. Ice poles are my absolute favourite when it’s hot and I couldn’t wait to introduce Oliver to them this year. He loved it! Had a little trouble pushing it up but couldn’t get enough of the stuff! I have a feeling this summer is going to be good.

2 year update.
Okay, so it’s late I know but Oliver didn’t see the health visitor until Friday last week!
My little munchkin now weighs 28lbs and is 34” tall.
Ollie can now talk, and I mean TALK. I can have a conversation and he can talk in proper sentences, the lady said she hasn’t heard a 2 year old talk like that for a long time. I’m proud.
We are almost there on potty training, we had a full day yesterday of no accidents even though my dad had him for a couple of hours (and I half expected my dad to put a nappy on him) I am quietly confident my boy will be out of daytime nappies by the time his sibling arrives.
We are having a little trouble on the dummy front. He loves his dummy and is absolutely not willing to give it up any time soon. But I’m letting that run its course and hopefully when the baby arrives be will want to be a big boy? Who knows, let’s hope for the best.
I am happy. Oliver is growing, learning and thriving at home with his mama and I cant help but feel I’m doing my job well. :D
